Important Notices:
The Scarily Accurate Weather Watch Log will be updated on the 1st, so please be ready for some nice, hot to heatwave-y weather. As a note, the detailed report contains smaller prompts for you with things to do that are 'pick your own' when it comes to what they mean.
The First Player Event's will take place on Day 38-44 (15-28 Nov), so keep an eye out for that! A hint as to what's coming: Messed up Gravity!
The Intro Log will go up on the 1st of November, AEST Time.
Other Notices:
A small Space Mall will be passed by around Day 33 (6th - 7th Nov). This one is a bit dingy and run down, though it does have a small gardening store and supermarket that have seen better days.
Keep an eye on the Jungle... Those with nature-like powers will start to feel off by the end of November, as if something is stirring.
The Locations page has been updated, and is located here. Players are free and encouraged to add locations to the ship as they are found. The Player plots/suggestions is here, too.

About you: First started DWRP in 2015 so I've been around... a while. |D I'm in EST/US East Coaster, all pronouns are fine nowadays, and my favorite character is usually 'main character of obscure series OR character the narrative doesn't focus on in an otherwise well-liked series' Long-time Young Wizards and WWW Trilogy fan, but I have been known to dabble in other universes from time to time.
Character: Webmind!
Canon: The WWW Trilogy (as stated), a series set in an alternate-universe 2012. And to make him fit in this game, he's a Voidtrecker CRAU!
Little bit about them: An emergent digital consciousness, Webmind has a LOT of knowledge and an ever-increasing amount of experience getting along with those of other species.

Little bit about them: - A nearly 40ft tall Decepticon Empress who is very much on a holiday! Also the whole reason we have 50ft ceilings LMAO.
- Her alt is a dragon-griffon kaiju thing. It's awesome.
- Misses her husband (Deathsaurus), her First Son (Solon), her people in general. She has a List of What She Misses. She will be happy Donnie is here, but also very upset he's been dragged into MORE faerie BS.
- Also she will have an Ornitha (a psychic platypus species) puggle a hatching a few days into Nov. It is very small. Please help. She's never cared for a literal baby organic before.
Hopes and dreams:
Deathsaurus and SolonHonestly Esmeryl is just vibing and chilling out while hating the ship is like it is. Drag her into stuff. Help her organise things for her new puggle baby. Come find a cloning lab with her?She's a Cybertronian. She can probably survive the derelict areas of the ship, right?

Little bit about them: - A Fairy princess (Dark Elf) who's spent 99.5% of her life as a living doll to her mother in order to be sacrificed as fuel for immortality. This is Fine. And then she was a (trophy) wife and spent the last 9 months learning to be person in her own right and not a pretty prefect thing.
- She misses Cayde, but she's also kinda glad??? he's not here dealing with Fae Bullshit.
- Also kinda vibing while sulking at how Poor the ship is.
Hopes and dreams: Drag her into things. She needs to learn to be more of who she really is. And rob a bank I mean find some sucker to con out of his money I mean not do any of that because it's wrong. Yes.
Niko
Canon: Pokemon AU. TLDR: What if pokemon was a realistic live action thing. It snowballed. A lot.
Little bit about them: They/Them. Niko will ICly excuse one slip before they get snippy at people. That said, in no order, they are an abrasive arsehole with a heart of copper, probably doing friendship right somehow, a pokemon trainer with a crobat, a Gymleader (Viridian), and a Crime boss, though the Crime Boss is secret. Niko will not willingly tell and is an expert at hiding it.
They also come with pokemon. You are welcome.
Hopes and dreams: Not looking to out Niko as the Rocket Boss, but otherwise come at me. They have pokemon and will be rather Upset there are No Pokemon In Space. Or anywhere. Or that none of you people know what pokemon are.

Little bit about them: Donnie is an overachieving, attention-starved teenager who may be a bit too smart for his own good and has never ever used such means for personal gain or attempting to fix problems that may or may not include his family's faults. ... A-anyway, he's been on a rollercoaster of emotional experiences and has developed issues with beings of higher orders pushing people around, among other things. Don't ask about why he has magical stone for arms and hands, it's fine. Or why he can talk to plants. Or why his book has teeth and is sometimes not a book...

Character: Nyla Vereca
Canon: She's an OC from a solo/dual RPG called For Small Creatures Such As We homebrewed with Noxian Expanse.
Little bit about them: here's a quick info post! She's the captain of a very run down spaceship, and just got off a bad run where her best friend and security is critically injured, her asexual bestie has abandoned her, and only her horticulturalist remains, and she's sold out to the military, because that's the only way to save her Security guy's life. So things kinda suck! But she's an optimist at heart and will make the best out of things no matter what! Also if you're big and scary, she will somehow insist on befriending you.
Hopes and dreams:she just got here (not even officially yet!) and so ALL the CR! Friends, found family, silly adventures, someone who needs their frown turned upside down, you name it! Also she's got a medical certification, so plz lead to the medibay? ALSO she has a skill in talking to machines.

Daniel is a good kid who got dealt bad cars by canon life and is now trying to navigate his trauma in a safe environment. Generally easy to go along with and starved for social interactions. Rather enjoying being part of the fantasy genre too. He will trust you to be good no matter what you do and try to befriend things that outright threaten to eat him. Firm pacifist, will not kill under any circumstances.
Hopes and dreams: Well, thanks to Kitten Chaos triggering a shift in his own magic and the choosen reward he will grow wings. And antlers. And scale-tattoos over his scars. His first assumption is that he is dying and boy will there be freak-outs. Even without that it’ll be rather an adjustment. Help will be appreciated though I must warn that trauma has him react badly to anything resembling doctors or hospitals.

Canon: OC from the “Children of Time” books by Adrian Tchaikovsky, unrelated to any characters in it. Set an undefined time after the third one, so all species and events mentioned up to then are known

He is an octopus, who communicates by having his emotions display in colored patterns on his skin, like someone bred a screensaver with a mood ring. How are you getting words from that? You just do! But this is a great adventure, he is enjoying himself here and wants to learn all about everything.
Hopes and dreams: Has at the end of the Kitten Chaos gained a baby Mycelia and could use pointers on how to care for it. He’ll also be involved in the players event (hi, yes, that is mine) so I’ll focus on that. You’ll see once it goes up! Will keep being an octopus till the player event, then shift back to being a human – this time hopefully with people more understanding of why he handles such a body oddly lol

Who wants a nosy dragonborn?
About you: she/her, US Central but I work evenings so my active hours look like I'm an ocean away lmao. Fantasy, sci-fi, and every permutation of the two are my thing. Been reading and writing religiously since I was 11, pretty much all of it fandom/genre unless required otherwise for a class or something. (I used to be able to finish a 500-page book in like 4 hours, where did that go?)
Character: Ferlarys
Canon: She's from the Forgotten Realms D&D setting, specifically the Neverwinter MMO. Originally created just as a character for the sake of making a character (with a flexible backstory that could leave her anywhere from level 1-5 to start), her "somewhere" wasn't even a table. But I'm fine with that, since I find I'm pretty content with just faffing about this world on my own.
Little bit about them: She's a ranger with a pet hawk she can talk to. So can you, if you know the same spell as she does. Has an interest in medicine and is an absolute mother hen and also kind of nosy in her curiosity. Her permissions and opt-outs are both handled through this post.
Hopes and dreams: Honestly give her things to be nosy at or fuss over, teach her modern things because FR's tech is generally medieval with scattered steampunk and she doesn't know anything about this stuff. Also keep her from wandering off where she shouldn't because space works differently where she's from. Happy to have her meet other nature-types too! There seem to be a few of us! Mostly I just want to throw her at people and situations and see what sticks.

Canon: She is from Girl Genius with AU from Wake. Her Girl Genius part is a bit AUed also though because the comics took a side story that was apparently a "What if" detective Noir story, not a flash forward to the future...
Little bit about them:
Agatha is a Spark, so basically a Mad Scientist who somehow looses all common sense. She is very friendly and loves to share her enthusiasm, she just sometimes forgets that the things she gets excited over sometimes horrifies other people. Also she nearly always has an entourage of small sentient devices. She builds them, mostly in her sleep.
Hopes and dreams: I love CR with other science/tech characters for her. She really gets a lot of energy off of nerding out with people. Also I would love for her to make some good friends in this game, as she does best when she has someone she cares about to work with. But I am also cool with negative CR so long as things are good between me and the other player(s) ooc!

Canon: The Culdcept manga
Little bit about them:
A well meaning hero type with limited self control, PTSD, and a huge appetite! She is a Cepter (summoner) and eager to make friends. And she swears her man headed cane is not an evil servant of a vanquished god!
Hopes and dreams: While Song helped Najaran begin to heal from the trauma of how many people she failed to save, she is still a bit broken. I would love to see her gaining lots of friends, and maybe even a foes -> rivals -> to friend relationship at some point!
I should warn anyone who might want to see a romantic plot she is both a teenager and utterly oblivious. So... yeah, that tends to not work out. You have been warned.

Genta is far from the kid you see in DCMK, largely because he's 12 years older than the kid in DCMK. There's a reason I had to go looking for a face claim! The AU itself already stretches the Canon end of canon a bit, but adding in years of time to deal with singularities alongside his best friends (some of whom aren't even canon characters) does a lot!
Still, he's a fairly good guy. Grounded, but optimistic. Loves animals, cooking, and plants, and honestly he could probably give some of the Detectives in his canon a bit of competition by now- at least if they were on his 'turf' (the turf in question being anything involving magecraft).
He may have also tripped into pseudo-tengu-dom by way of learning stuff like complete presence concealment but don't worry about that. It's fine! Just enjoy the crow he has to stand in for a Shadow Servant. (Honestly I could ramble about this AU For pages and pages, but I won't, that's so much,)
Hopes and dreams: WELL GOLLY... ..Honestly all I crave is CR. I am excited to tag everyone here, to meet everyone here, but I'm also a little shy I admit, AU muses aren't really something DWRP encourages a lot, so it takes a bit to get over the kneejerk assumption that someone doesn't Want tags from me! Canon: He is a Changeling: the Lost OC
Little bit about them: This is actually Jules's second time being kidnapped by the Fae and he's absolutely convinced things are going to get super terrible at any moment now. He was originally a human but now he's a gargoylish Lurkglider thanks to his first brush with the Fae, and the magic that should be letting him continue to appear to be human has been acting up like crazy here in space, he hates that. Jules is an abject coward who would much rather remain holed up somewhere with a computer.
Hopes and dreams: I need to get him back in action because again, I totally vanished for like a month there. He has been holed up somewhere setting up space wifi with stuff he obtained from the space mall. Looking for all the CR, pretty much.
Falcon - Æn'Kae
About you: CDT(GMT-5) / CST (GMT -6), He/They - A fan of sci-fi/fantasy in general and the world's biggest fan of any of my friend's OCs/writing my own OCs. I have so many. Please stop them from entering my head.

Little bit about them: A young Romulan/Vulcan who just wants to be veterinarian and somehow ended up working as a medic for a group of freedom fighters. He's a vegetarian, will talk over fighting, has a belief system that is a mix of spiritual and scientific, plays the Vulcan/Romulan lute as a hobby, is a bit of an anxious mess, and crushes at the drop of a hat but isn't likely to act on it. His pet Targ is named Roj and she is a very good girl. Her friend, Hwoinch is a Flerken, please try not to scare him.

Hopes and dreams: His current goal is getting a functional medbay going and he could use help. He'll definitely be hitting the next space mall for medicinal herbs/any other supplies he can find (this one may not be so big that he needs moral support but he'd still welcome company.) Also. He is awful about remembering to use networks, just. At all. Someone may need to point out space ebay to him.
Outside of that, I'd love for him to meet more people and more animals, all the animals. Someone needs to drag him away from focusing on the medbay. Srsly.
