Don't mind the dust on the ship or the half derelict look - or the Strangely Perfect Weather. It's Fine. You'll soon feel at home. Probably.

The Scarily Accurate Weather Watch Log is telling everyone they still have ten days of Perfect Weather. Everything is fine and normal. (Days 61 to 70)
The Intro Log will go up when the mod awakens again. Please be patient.

A Space Mall will be passed by around the (10th - 12th Jan). This one is a Standard American Typical Mall and is also... perfect? Weird. Don't think too hard about it. You'll get a headache if you do. It's most definitely not something run by the fae at all. Any elves are your imagination.
Is the Perfectness and the Working replicators unnerving? It's just your imagination. There is nothing to worry about. Everything is fine.
The Locations page has been updated, and is located here. Players are free and encouraged to add locations to the ship as they are found. The Player plots/suggestions is here, too.

USAGI + THE BOYS
About you: EST Nights Worker (full time) in Canada, I'm gradually beating back the IRL stressors with a baseball bat. I like Pokemon and JJBA (and honestly a lot of other things, try me-), but over all given the first bullet point I can often be a bit quiet whoops. I promise I'm open to chatter !!!
EMPORIO ALNINO (The New Character I Brought,)
Canon: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean....Followed by Legends ZA!
Little bit about them: Emporio's AU gives him three more years of development beyond canon (so he's 15, and gets drawn icons as a reward), and those three years have left him a very anxious teen with regards to social stuff. Astoundingly intelligent, and ultimately good at heart, his greatest wish as of late is probably to disappear and never make another friend again because he's going to lose them all!! Apparently!! After all, he had friends in Lumiose and here he is now!
Emporio comes from the end of all the canon content of ZA, but, I'll be avoiding spoilers with relative ease. For both canons! He's also here with only a few of the Pokemon he actually has, don't worry about it.
Hopes and dreams: Obviously, Emporio needs to settle in before anything, or at least settle in as best he can. All the perfection is definitely going to set him off, but weirdly enough the perfect weather will probably not phase him until the moment he gets REALLY UPSET and nothing happens. I like to think that Weather Report can't combat the synthesized weather of a given location :]
Beyond that weirdness, he gets to discover that Zygarde can't do shit (by way of Zygarde being Very Alarmed), that Mega Evolution will now do the opposite of what it's supposed to do, and also his Rotom hates everything. At least he can go to a mall??? At least he can go to a mall.
GENTA KOJIMA (HE'S BEEN HERE A BIT NOW)
Canon: Detective Conan/Magic Kaito, but really more Fate/Go via his crossover.
Little bit about them: Genta here is one of a collective number of people taking the place of the MC in the Fate/Go storyline, and at this point is fairly early on in the 'Bleached Earth' plotline. At 18, he's pretty grounded over all; very down to earth, and fairly optimistic in a given situation (Though he IS observant enough to realize when shit's about to hit the fan). Animals tend to dig him, and he managed to arrive with two. Three? The third is more of a weird summon weapon. He can be a bit childish in his passions at times, and has absolutely and shamelessly made use of the ballpit because in his words, who wouldn't???
Hopes and dreams: IT'S TIME FOR THE MALL IT'S TIME FOR THE MALL! Genta won't necessarily point out that it's weird everything is perfect, but he will at least enjoy it while it lasts. If someone draws attention to it, he'll actually be more likely to ask why you jinxed it. Really now, don't ruin a good thing.
I do hope that, if I can beat back life a bit, I can get both Genta and Emporio doing a little more than a settling in thread or two, but we'll have to see...and hope...and pray...

About you: Eastern Standard Type of guy, he/him, enjoyer of Gunpla, MST3K, anime and manga, video games, all that.
Character: Mina Mongoose
Canon: Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie Comics) + Voidtrekker CRAU!
Little bit about them: This Mina comes from an alternate fanmade AU where her powers kicked into overdrive way too soon, turning her into more of a mystic creature than just the speedster diva she would become. Then, she found herself on the Voidtrekker train, met up with a lot of people and saved the multiverse.
Hopes and dreams: She was here briefly before, but now she's back and in full force. So, she'll need to settle down, get used to her new-ish home and meet new people in a ship filled with humans. Yay.
At least a certain friend of hers is on this ship. Just need to meet.
Daniel + Lucas
About you: they/them, GMT+1/2, reading lots of books and loving rocks. Got to look for a new job in the new year bc my contract runs out in July, so there may be some stress coming. Tags are a great distraction for that!
Character: Daniel Wing
Canon: “Legend” by Marie Lu, with a bit over a year of an private RPG featured in the setting of “Tales at the Gas Station” that included other characters
Little bit about them: he is a good kid with a lot of trauma to stumble upon and still trying to figure out what he wants to do with life as a whole. Currently not dealing well with the fact that this seems to be a longterm situation and that this means loosing the support network he barely got used to having. At the same time this is his first time making real friends and he does badly want to continue that.
Hopes and dreams:
Given that he is already inviting everyone who seems to need it to shared mealtimes, I plan to throw up a network post making that an open invitation to anyone. Otherwise this ship doesn’t provide half enough distractions to keep from some unhealthy thought spirals, so he will happily take anything there. His wings are grown in, so attempting flying is a possibility! As is bringing skateboard hockey to this ship, with the help of Donnie.
Spacemall will get him finally an MP3 player, though he still needs more wing-suited clothes.
Character: Lucas
Canon: OC from “Children of Time” by Adrian Tchaikovsky
Little bit about them: Uplifted sentient octopus, who generally considers this the best thing that happened in his life. He gets to meet new people, see strange worlds and there is no one of his kind around to have to share it with! Being turned human is a minor caveat, but also an unique experience to have. So far nothing has made a big dent in his chipper mood.
Hopes and dreams:
No concrete plans. He is still avoiding any tech but his own after the bad reactions to his gravity improvements past month. Instead he is taken to artistic adventures, painting the walls around his room, any paper he can get his hands on, decorating all sorts of areas throughout the ship.
Will stay human for the month, unless a really enticing plot happens.

Also whenever he learns Lucas is an octopus he'll want to try to make something to help him get around. A little car or something to drive through the halls. There are sentient octopoids in his setting, they tend to get around in hovering tanks and stuff.

Cirape | Zero Two
About you: EST with a day job but shifting towards nocturnal when off. Tagging speed may vary based on how work is going. Sucks at intros.
Character: Zero Two
Canon: Canon OC from The Murderbot Diaries (they're far enough from canon events/characters that books/tv doesn't really matter) that got thrown into the Pokemon (games) world (shortly before Legends Z-A)
Little bit about them: Zero Two is a genderless construct (basically cyborg) that was built to
intimidateprovide security and be treated as a tool. As of now its still pretending to be a normal human, if a very awkward one. It's naturally paranoid and anxious, and doesn't really get how to emotion yet.Since SecUnits are intimidating, I figure its default ('secunit neutral') look is vaguely intimating. A form of resting bitch face for sure.
Also pokemon! Its Fletchinder, Floette and Umbreon are usually out of their balls and near by. Maybe one day I'll make a post with its roster.

Hopes and dreams: Zero Two is still pretty new at thinking of itself as a person and has little to no idea of how to interact with people socially. It's time in the pokemon world helped with that but its still awkward. So right now just seeing how things go and adjusting to a new universe. Maybe moving towards not pretending its human all the time.
The perfect weather is normal, of course, they're on a space station...or ship. Or whatever it is. When weather happens then it'll get confused.

Little bit about them: Totally stress-free teenager who absolutely loves the fact that he's been kidnapped into yet more Fae-shenanigans because he simply can't get enough of them. And if you believe that then I have this invisible jet I'd love to sell you.
Hopes and dreams: Everything, bringit. He'll probably brave the jungle at some point, got something to look for.

About you: CST (UTC-6) but when I'm on is erratic - He/Him - My brain has been mush, but let's gooo.

Canon: Star Trek OC from the year 2409 - The Romulan Republic lore is heavily pulled from Star Trek Online!
Little bit about them: A young Romulan/Vulcan who just wants to be veterinarian and somehow ended up working as a medic for a group of freedom fighters. He's a vegetarian, will talk over fighting, has a belief system that is a mix of spiritual and scientific, plays the Vulcan/Romulan lute as a hobby, is a bit of an anxious mess, and crushes at the drop of a hat but isn't likely to act on it. His pet Targ is named Roj and she is a very good girl. Her friend, Hwoinch is a Flerken, please try not to scare him.

Hopes and dreams: He is continuing to keep himself busy this month. Any/all help with a medical garden, teaching him about combining herbs, etc, he will welcome. (He has chemistry knowledge and a tricorder to avoid making poison, but like, nothing beats people who actually know what they're doing) I also will always welcome characters dragging him out of finding ways to work all the time. He may not chose to go to this space mall, but if someone decided to ask him along he'd likely agree.

About you: she/her, CST but work evenings so basically the opposite active schedule of what you think, I've been playing a lot of, surprise, Neverwinter and SWTOR lately (the latter I'm returning to after a few years of hiatus). Gee, I wonder why these two characters are on my mind right now! I am unfortunately very slow lately thanks to work being difficult. Hopefully that changes soon.
Character: Ferlarys
Canon: Forgotten Realms, leaning heavily on the Neverwinter MMO for story backdrop (and originally made for it) but built in 5e Info post here
Little bit about them: Fussy mother hen dragonborn ranger, will absolutely stick her nose into your business if she thinks you might need help. If anyone needs help navigating the jungle, she's got a good sense of it by now since she spends a lot of time there. She's also a (mostly nonmagical but she does know Cure Wounds) healer and knows her way around herbs and stuff (well, Toril's herbs. She's working on trying to figure out if anything growing in the jungle is medicinal). Has a hawk companion named Arrow who generally won't bother people if his person isn't. Opt-out/permissions here
Hopes and dreams: Has some company in the nature-lovers/healers combo department! She's still trying to figure out how this world even works since even space itself behaves very differently in her setting (and its technology caps out at steam power). Does know some things about the fae, albeit indirectly, and wants to find out who the heck their hosts are, because this is weird even for them.
Character: Abric Solari (Smuggler) over at
Canon: Star Wars: The Old Republic, from a quest/timeline merge AU (the game sort of encourages the player to make this AU, but still can't account for it, so, it's an AU!) (Long!) writeup here
Little bit about them: Fun-loving scoundrel masking trauma who's grown a sense of responsibility over the course of his story. If Ferlarys is primed to interact with the magical side, Abric's here for the tech. Assumes they've been kidnapped to fix the ship and is happy enough to do so! (Less so the whole forced-to-be-here thing.) Permissions and opt-outs here
Hopes and dreams: Abric loves meeting new people, give him all the CR! He's going to want to repair the ship, so any time there's a junkyard or a derelict or an abandoned battlefield he's gonna try to get out there and scavenge for parts. Also might try to figure out if Navi-No's getting a signal from anywhere or sending one anywhere, because he just assumes "fae" are a species he hasn't met yet.
