The Thorough Scarily Accurate Weather Log

Day Seventy-One (Jan 20 - Jan 21)Day Seventy-Two (Jan 22 - Jan 23)

Temperature: Perfection.
Conditions: Perfection.
Humidity: Perfect.
Sensory Notes: Everything is Perfection.
Observatories: The rogue planet is passing directly underneath us. It glows with artificial city lights that spell out "HELLO" in a language no one speaks, yet everyone understands.

Temperature: 23°C (feels like 23°C)
Conditions: Textures Glitch. The walls, floors, and occasionally people appear "low resolution" or pixelated for seconds at a time.
Humidity: 0% (Digital???)
Sensory Notes: Objects feel smoother than they should, lacking grit. Eating food feels like eating air, but provides sustenance. Replicators dispense food in perfect cubes. Cube Apple. Cube Soup. Cube Water.
Observatories: The stars look like square pixels. Navi-No is currently buffering with a loading circle on it's 'face'.
Day Seventy-Three (Jan 24 - Jan 25)Day Seventy-Four (Jan 26 - Jan 27)

Temperature: 20°C (feels like 18°C)
Conditions: The Glitches remain and Lag Commences. Time feels... sticky. You walk across a room and realise you did it three seconds ago.
Humidity: 60%
Sensory Notes: Conversations are difficult due to audio desync. The Replicators are slow; you order breakfast, it arrives at dinner.
Observatories: As well as looking like pixels, the stars streak into long lines (hyperspace visual) and stay that way for six hours too long.

Temperature: 18°C (feels like 16°C)
Conditions: System Restore. The ship jolts violently at 10 AM, and everything returns to high-definition, real life. The trade off is everyone is now talking like a Pirate. And Navi-No only communicates in Sea Shanties.
Humidity: 70%
Sensory Notes: A thick, comforting fog rolls through the ship. It smells of lavender, the sea, and ozone. The silence is profound after the Synth days. The Flerken Kittens are confused and are walking sideways and on the ceilings.
Observatories: We have arrived in a Nebula composed entirely of pink gas. It reduces visibility to zero, but the pink light filtering in is very flattering.

Also PIRATES????
Day Seventy-Five (Jan 28 - Jan 29)Day Seventy-Six (Jan 30 - Jan 31)

Temperature: 16°C (feels like 14°C)
Conditions: Melancholy Drizzle. It is raining in the Tavern-Bar and the Library, but nowhere else.
Humidity: 80% (Localized to character rooms for some reason)
Sensory Notes: Everyone feels a sudden, unexplainable urge to look out a window and sigh wistfully. The Replicators serve comfort food: Tomato soup, grilled cheese, and warm cookies.
Observatories: The pink nebula is clearing, revealing a field of asteroids that look vaguely like sad faces. Or maybe that's just the mood.

Temperature: 15°C (feels like 12°C)
Conditions: The vents are howling, but if you listen closely, it sounds like they are gossiping about you. Yes, you. They may be telling your greatest triumphs or your worst secrets. Or just making things up about you.
Humidity: 40%
Sensory Notes: Drafty. Doors slam shut on their own. Everyone's pets or Companions seem to be at ventilation grates, arguing with the ship. Or attempting to bite it. The vents giggle.
Observatories: A comet passes by with a tail that glitters green. It is beautiful, but looking at it makes your left eye twitch.
Day Seventy-Seven (Feb 1 - Feb 2)Day Seventy-Eight (Feb 3 - Feb 4)

Temperature: 19°C (Air), 40°C (Floor)
Conditions: The Floor is Lava (Metaphorically, mostly). A heating malfunction in the sub-deck makes the floor uncomfortably hot to walk on.
Humidity: 30%
Sensory Notes: The smell of hot rubber and lava. Everyone is walking quickly or jumping between furniture. Replicators serve hot pockets.
Observatories: We are skimming the atmosphere of a gas dwarf. Friction is heating the hull and it looks like we are flying through space lava. It's very pretty but probably very unwise to be outside the ship.

Temperature: 22°C (feels like 24°C)
Conditions: Harmless, bioluminescent pink moss sprouts rapidly in the corners of the ship. It's a bit like helium. You are welcome.
Humidity: 75%
Sensory Notes: The air is thick and sweet. Touching the moss makes it chime like a tiny bell. Characters who touch it will glitter for three days. No soap can remove it.
Observatories: Leaving the gas dwarf. The hull cools down. The stars are crisp and clear.
Day Seventy-Nine (Feb 5 - Feb 6)Day Eighty (Feb 7 - Feb 8)

Temperature: 24°C (feels like 28°C)
Conditions: A low-frequency vibration resonates through the entire ship. It isn't loud, but it can be felt in the teeth.
Humidity: 65%
Sensory Notes: Insects? Machinery? No one knows. The Kittens are sleeping constantly to escape it. The replicators are shaking, causing all drinks to be fizzy/carbonated, even the milk.
Observatories: A massive, derelict hive-ship drifts past. It is dead and silent, but the Hum definitely comes from there.

Characters feel a pull to investigate.

Temperature: 20°C (feels like 19°C)
Conditions: Silence. The Hum stops abruptly at 4 AM. The relief is palpable. The Pixel Effect Is Back.
Humidity: 50%
Sensory Notes: The moss withers and vanishes into dust and the air is scrubbed clean. The ship feels like it just woke up from a fever dream. The Replicators are offering "Congratulations" Cube Cake that smells like Durian Fruit.
Observatories: Space is calm and boring. It's actually rather nice.
